Caimans and Gharials

There are two other types of reptiles in the reptilian order Crocodylia. They are caimans and the gharial. There are 6 different types of caimans and only 1 type of gharial. Gharials are also quite rare as the rivers in India are getting badly polluted. There is also a type of crocodile called the false gharial. Caimans are more like alligators than crocodiles and are relatively small. Gharials are quite difference from both crocs and gators because they have a complete difference shape. Gharials live only in India and Caimans live in parts of Central and South America. Here are some pictures of them.
