Crocodiles eat quite a lot of things. They are not fussy eaters. Adult crocodiles eat wild boar, kangaroos, buffalos, reptiles, birds, zebras, yaks, deer, gaur, monkeys and livestock. Basically anything that comes to the water to eat. The juveniles eat insects, shellfish and fish. Some large crocodiles each sharks or smaller crocodiles. Crocodiles can't eat large animals because they can't chew. Their jaws can't move side ways to grind up food so they have to eat by swallowing things whole. To eat large prey they spin their prey around in the water ripping off chunks of flesh. This is called a 'Death Roll'. Crocodiles have also been known to attack humans. So be wary when you are near croc infested waters.
