Differences Between Alligators and Crocodiles

There are quite a few differences between alligators and crocodiles even though they come from the same reptilian order Crocodylia. There are 23 species in total. Some of the main differences between alligators and crocodiles are that alligators have U shaped snouts whilst crocodiles have more of a V shape. The other differences are that some crocodile species can survive in salt water and no alligators can. Also crocodiles are more aggressive than alligators. Crocodiles also have teeth that stick up out of their mouths whilst alligators don't. The last difference is that crocodiles live all over the world and alligators only live in America and China. There are also a few more differences but   they aren't very important.
